Nancy Lee is newly retired, after 30 years in the field of Human Resources. Most recently, Lee served as HR Director for Clinicas Mi Doctor, a group of family practice clinics located in Hispanic communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and Houston. Prior to that, Lee worked for GTE/Verizon for 22 years in various areas of human resources including staffing, benefits, compensation, labor and employee relations, talent management, and diversity.
Lee was active in the North Texas chapter of the Hispanic Support Organization and served on the board of DIAL (Disabilities Issues Awareness Leaders), both of which are Verizon employee resource groups. She is also a board member of the Hermansky-Pudlak Sydrome Network, a support organization for a rare genetic disorder that affects Lee.
Lee holds a masters degree in human resources and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Lee was born in New York City and is the daughter of native Puerto Rican parents. She moved to Texas in 1982, where she currently lives with her husband. The Lees have four children and six grandchildren who reside in the area.
