Seattle public television station KCTS 9 will broadcast the documentary RARE on Aug. 22nd at noon. This hour-long documentary addresses many of the ethincal issues surrounding participation in drug research. It follows the HPS Network through a phase III clinical trial to treat the pulmonary fibrosis of HPS. It also highlights many issues rare diseases face while trying to get treatments.
