Hockey fundraiser a great success

The Falcons, a hockey team in Springfield, Mass, have held a fundraiser for the HPS Network for the second year in a row. This year the team donated $2.00 for every ticket sold by representatives of the HPS Network for two of its games in March. Todd Collins and Chad McGillicuddy sold the charity tickets. The McGillicuddy family organized the special event.

At each charity game a special exposition game was held before the professional event in honor of HPS to help generate awareness. On March 14, 2009 the match was between the Cap and Hitch of New England and the Baystate Boilers. On March 21st it was the Battle of the Bases - .Barnes Air National Guard Base vs. Connecticut 103fw Connecticut Air National Guard.

All together the events raised almost $1,000 for the HPS Network.
