Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome Network Inc

On August 11th, a team from the HPS Network Puerto Rico, and the HPS Network based in New York, spent nearly an hour on the airwaves of radio station WABA 850 am discussing Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome and the HPS Puerto Rico conference.

Hilda Cardona, board member of the HPS Network, explained the medical aspects of the syndrome, and Maritza Soto and Mervin Hernandez shared their experiences living with HPS.

HPS Network President Donna Appell, Vice President Heather Kirkwood and Ashley Appell were also in the studio, but didn’t participate in the discussion.
